NV Trends is an independent blog for readers in India, focused on two subjects: technology and personal finance. The aim is simple: explain things clearly enough to act on, with rupee examples, Indian availability and the rules that actually apply here.
Who writes it
Every article is published under the NV Trends byline. NV Trends is an independent publication: topics are chosen, facts checked and corrections handled by its editorial team, and nothing is written by a third party.
What we cover
- Technology — developer tools, AI models you can run on your own machine, Android and privacy, open-source software, and product launches with an India angle.
- Finance — mutual funds (gold, debt, equity, index, ELSS), SIPs, capital-gains tax and the practical side of investing in India.
Older articles on education, lifestyle and entertainment remain available but are no longer the focus of the site.
How articles are produced
- Topics come from what readers search for and from developer and finance news.
- Drafts are prepared with AI assistance and then edited for accuracy, structure and usefulness before publishing. We say so openly because readers should know how a page was made.
- Finance articles cite primary sources where possible (SEBI, AMFI, RBI, the Income Tax Department, fund factsheets) and carry an “as of” date on figures that change.
- We do not claim hands-on testing or personal experience we have not had.
- Each article shows its publish date and, when revised, an “Updated” date.
A note on financial content
Articles in the Finance section are for general information and education only. They are not financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Please read the Disclaimer and consult a SEBI-registered adviser before acting on anything you read here.
