Naveen Thangam
Naveen Thangam is the founder and editor of NV Trends. He started the site to explain technology and personal-finance topics in plain English for readers in India: gadgets and developer tools on one side, mutual funds, tax and everyday money decisions on the other.
What I write about
- Technology: developer tooling, local and cloud AI models, Android and privacy, open-source software, and launches that matter to Indian buyers (prices in rupees, availability here).
- Finance: mutual funds (gold, debt, equity, index, ELSS), SIPs, capital-gains tax and the practical mechanics of investing in India.
How articles are produced and checked
- Drafts are prepared with AI assistance from a topic brief and then edited for accuracy, structure and usefulness before publishing.
- Finance articles cite primary sources where possible (SEBI, AMFI, RBI, the Income Tax Department, fund factsheets) and carry an “as of” date on figures that change.
- Technology articles describe setups and tools as reported in official documentation unless first-hand use is stated explicitly.
- Every article shows its publish date and, when revised, an “Updated” date. Older articles are refreshed when the underlying facts change.
- Nothing on this site is investment, tax or legal advice. See the Disclaimer.
Corrections
If you find an error, a stale figure or a broken link, please write via the Contact page. Corrections are made on the original article and the updated date is changed.
